Trustee Types
Our board is made up of three types of trustees. Ex-officio trustees are automatically trustees on the board due to their position held within the District operational structure, there is two ex-officio positions available on the board which belong to a District Lead Volunteer and a District Youth Lead.
Elected trustees are recruited as part of our open selection process and elected at our AGM. Our Chair and Treasurer are also Elected trustees. Finally co-opted trustees are voted onto the board by the existing members of the board as required.
The maximum number of trustees that can be on our board is 12 members.
Sub-Committees
The District Board of Trustees oversees a number of sub-committees with specific responsibilities. Each sub-committee requires it’s own terms or reference and is responsible to the board of trustees.
