Our Trustee board support the District Commissioner in the running of the district and ensure the compliant running of the charity.
Our trustees are governed by and chosen according to our consitution.

Trustee Types
Our board is made up of four types of trustees. Ex-officio trustees are automatically trustees on the board due to their position held within the District operational structure or their position as the Chair, Secretary or Treasurer. Our elected trustees are put forward by the groups and won’t be a uniformed leader but are usually a trustee within a group int he district. They are elected by vote at our AGM. Our nominated trustees are chosen by the District Commissioners and the Chair to represent the remaining groups, these are uniformed leaders within their groups. Finally co-opted trustees are voted onto the board by the existing members of the board
Sub-Committees
In-line with our constitution we may create sub-committees to oversee specified responsibilities. Each sub-committee requires it’s own terms or reference and is responsible to the board of trustees.
