1st Basingstoke

As the oldest group in the town, 1st Basingstoke Scout Group has been providing fun and #SkillsForLife to young people since 1909!

Meeting on a Monday evening our Beaver, Cub and Scout sections cater to over 50 young people each week during term time – having fun, playing games, working in a team and taking on new challenges.

As well as weekly meetings we aim to provide a range of exciting additional opportunities throughout the year to Camp, learn survival skills, take part in trips to adventure parks and many more!

Everyone’s welcome.  All genders, races and backgrounds and abilities – there’s a Scout adventure out there waiting for them. And we’ll help them find it.

Sign up to help your child discover their ‘thing’: from abseiling to coding to performance art and everything in between.

We are passionate about bringing more young people into the fun of Scouting.  To make this possible we rely on the work of adult volunteers within a wide range of roles which can be tailored to your skills, experience, and time commitments.  If you would like to know more about getting involved, please contact us.
